Serving as a staff nurse of the Critical Care Department, enabled me to grasp the concepts behind neurological care and apply it on a daily basis. While there, not only was I tasked to care for patients with neurological disorders but postoperative neuro-surgical patients that mostly involved craniectomies and craniotomies. Working in the NICU allowed me to further develop my clinical eye in rendering correct assessment and proper time management which optimized care delivery.
