Excellent communication skills gained through supervising role at Bay Trading, where I communicated with my colleagues and delegated roles. Also I had to use my problem solving skills where I had to deal with a difficult customer and after a while it ended quite good where the customer calmed down.
At college I developed presentation skills by presenting a product that was assigned to us and I actually felt quite comfortable after a short while and it is something I feel confident in doing.

I have a lot of contact with customers whilst working at Highway Garden Centre. My duties include serving in the Coffee Shop, often with sole responsibility, dealing with customer complaints using my own initiative, waiting on tables and any other related duties which arise.

I have also had experience at College during “Salon days” of being responsible for the Reception area, which involved booking appointments over the telephone and in person and welcoming clients to the Salon.

I have worked in administration taking calls for the Sun newspaper holiday clients. In my previous job as an employment screener I called up my clients to discuss issues. I have worked in customer service retail roles working face to face with customers also.
