I have vast experience in customer service, having worked for three years in a local chemist. I have a polite and friendly manner and can respond effectively to the needs of a customer. I have been employed for ad-hoc university events as a casual staff member and have experience in event stewarding and waitressing. I have also worked within a fast-paced office environment. I can work well as a team and independently and complete tasks to deadlines. I am a reliable and dedicated individual.

I have worked in Customer Services, Retail and Marketing. I therefore appreciate the necessity to have focus on the customer whilst having experience in a variety of tasks. These include complaint handling, word processing, phone-canvassing, reject handling and retail sales.

I have over eight years customer service experience, and I often had to meet with customers face to face in order to deal with queries such as bank charges, opening accounts and dealing with loan applications. This meant that I often had to analyse situations in order to reach the best outcome for customers without being biased as well as meeting my targets and deadlines. I often worked under minimal or no supervision which meant I had to use my initiative.

I have recently relocated to the area from Surrey. I was Assistant General Manager for a small chain (4) of pub/restaurants, averaging 30-37k a week. I was managing anywhere from 8 to 25 members of staff, with full responsibilty for both FOH and BOH employees. I worked in all areas of the business, to identify any areas that could be improved. I am very customer service focused, striking up great rapports with both customers and staff member alike. I have a very 'hands on' approach to my work.
